Logan River

We went up Logan Canyon to see the river.
All of the rivers in Cache Valley are at flood stages and there
has been some major flooding in some areas.  In Logan
you can't go near the river or you will be ticketed.  Its
very dangerous, there were 6 children who drowned in a
two week period of time.  Very sad!  Curiosity got the
best of us so we went up the canyon to see the river.

 Two very handsome boys
 Charlie loves to on walks!
We will most likely not see this much water again in the river
for a very long time.  Its all the way to the top of the
banks!
 Beautiful!
I can see why people fall into the river!  It was
almost impossible to keep Bryce from the edge!
I bet the water is traveling 60 mph (ATLEAST).
You can see where it is coming over the bank.
Oh goodness!  Lilacs growing along the bank of the
river!!  I was in heaven!

Father's Day

We got Greg a new grill for Father's Day and
the boys put it together for him!
They really did have fun even if it looks like they
are grumpy.  HEHE
They got back from Lake Powell (where they had a
GREAT time!) and Saturday afternoon we were in town
Father's Day shopping and Tanner wanted to go get the
Mullet chopped off!  It was his idea too!
Isn't he cute??  Yes, both of them!  It was funny
at church to see people's reactions.  Most people didn't
even recognize him!  Tanner looks so much like his dad!

A mullet?? Really??

Yes, this is Tanner with a MULLET!!  He has had VERY
long hair for a LONG time!  It was actually about as long as
my hair!  Tanner and his friend Garrett have had plans
for quite a long time to cut their hair into a mullet for their
High Adventure Camp in Lake Powell this summer.
Well, here he is!
So cute!!  I tried to scan a picture of Greg into the computer
and my scanner isnt working.  I will scan it sometime because
Tanner looks so much like Greg from high school!

Piano Recital

Breeann had a piano recital (first recital in YEARS!)
and she was super nervous but did great!

Best birthday ever!

For my birthday I just wanted to spend time with my sweetheart.  We spent some time
at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake, went to lunch at Tucanos (YUMMY!) and went
to a movie.  The movie we saw was 17 Miracles, about the Martin and
Willy Handcart companies.  Such a wonderful movie.  I have always
love reading about the pioneers and these particular stories have always
had an impact on me.  I loved it and would highly recommend it!!
Take lots of kleenex!
On the way home, we stopped to see the new
temple being built in Brigham City.  It is so beautiful and
white!!  Wow.  Just a week ago you couldn't see it from the
road, but during the last week they put the spire on it and now
you can see it!!  What a blessing!
I don't know when I have enjoyed a birthday so much.
I have a wonderful husband!!  The only thing that would
have made it better is if we could have done a session in
the temple.  Oops, one of us forgot our recommend....

Visit with Amy

Greg and I spent a few days this week in Salt Lake
and one of the things I wanted to do was to go visit Amy and her
family.  It was very enjoyable to just sit and visit
with Amy and play with little Anine.  The baby really liked Greg.
Anine loved playing with my Ipad (she is a little genius baby)
but after awhile she crashed.  Such a cutie!  Its so fun to hold
a sleeping baby!  Lee came home from work and we were
able to spend some time getting to know him also.  This trip to
Salt Lake was especially enjoyable because we didn't go with
an agenda.  Tanner and Bryce were both in Lake Powell with
their Young Men group so we had no responsibilities at home.
It was great to just be able to go and do whatever we wanted!
Very relaxing!
