FALL AND FIRES

Roasting hot dogs in the fire is fun anytime but I really LOVE

the FALL temperatures in Cache Valley.  Its been in the high

70s or low 80s during the day then cools way down at night

(which is nice for sleeping!)  I wish the Fall would last for atleast

2 more months....wishful thinking????

Which Witch is Which??

Guess who made this quilt for me??  I betcha can't guess!!
Ok, I'll tell ya!  It was Bliss!  When they came to live with
us this summer for 6 weeks she brought me my birthday
present.  This DARLING quilt!  Now that it is FALL,
it is on my wall.  And I LOVE it!  Its so cute!!
Maybe since she lives so close she will teach me how
to make some of these!  Huh??

I thought her sparkly boots were so fun with

her dress.

Brandon's 26th birthday!

 Brandon's favorite place to eat is Texas Roadhouse, so

that is where we went for his birthday!  He says this is a 

new tradition, because we came her last year for his bday also!

His Grandparents joined us.  Bryce had drivers ed, Christa 

had the flu and was miserable and Greg was in China so we were

a small group!

 Ummmm, Tanner ordered a HUGE steak!  He was very

proud and had plenty of food to take home for lunch the next

day.

 Ahhhh, Breeann got him so fun movies that he has been

wanting.

Breeann with "Annie".  This little girl
was amazing.  She did such a great job
and was so fun to watch!  Breeann looks really
great as a 30s era girl!  I think she should bring that
look back!

Breeann with Miss Hannigan (aka Teresa Jones).  Teresa
is my friend and I visit teach her.  She is absolutely
fabulous and SO MUCH FUN!  Love her!!

 Breeann with Daddy Warbucks (aka President Blair).  I served with

President Blair for almost 3 years while I was in the Stake Young

Woman Presidency.  He is in the Stake Presidency (counselor) over the

YW program.  He was incredible as Daddy Warbucks and so fun to watch!

All of us with Breeann after the show was over.  Good job Breeann, 

she did a fabulous job!

 Breeann's car had a minor problem recently and

it was going to cost over $300 just for the part.  Then,

who knows how much the mechanic would have cost.

So Brandon decided to order the part online and do

it himself!  Matt and Lauren were here for the weekend,

so they played "mechanic".  

 See?  There is the evidence by the dirty hands!

When I asked if it was hard to fix it, Matt said,

"We accidentally put the motor in backwards and 

upside down, but then we took it out and turned it

the right way and Un-upsidedowned-it!"  Wow!

That is very good Matt!  I was proud of them though,

and think how much money they saved!  Good job

boys!

Time Out for Women

 A beautiful flower outside of the building at the

University where Time Out for Women was held.

 Christa went with me to the session today.

 A group of women from my ward went together

to the Time Out for Women.  It was so good!

Bryce asked a girl to the Homecoming Dance recently.  He thought the
idea from Napoleon Dynamite was fun, so he said, "I'm gonna bake her
a cake or something".  He baked a cake that had a hollow center and put a
little bowl inside with letters from his name (which she had to put together to
find out who had asked her).  Then he made a little sign to put on top of the
cake that said, "Will you go to Homecoming with me?".  This was her
response.  She came and decorated his room yesterday.

His room was full of stuff.  Couldn't
even walk in.

I'm not so sure he was too excited about it,
since he then had to clean it up!  But it
was fun!

Canning

 I love going to the Preston Cannery to do some of 

my canning.  The other day I went and did Spagetti

Sauce.  Does it look like I'm a witch stirring my witches brew??

 Yep, its delicious!

so much less messy to do it at the cannery!

Man Vs. Mud Run

This is before it started!  Look at how clean they are!

 At the beginning, they had to go down a huge slip n slide.

 Christa and Dotta (lots of people were on the side of

this trail with huge squirt guns)

 By this time they have gone through a few obstacles which

included some mud pits, she is getting a little muddy.

 I think this is McKinzey trying to get across this little

lake on the balloons without falling off.

 Christa jumped, but missed and ended up swimming across.

By the time she got here, the first balloon on each strip had

popped so it wasn't as easy to get on.

 At the finish line they had to go down another huge

slip n slide into a mud pit.

at the finish!  Pretty muddy, but it was a blast!

At the Top of Flat Top!  They feel like they are on the 

top of the world!  It was  a fun time for all of them!
