A little work, a little relaxation

We spent the weekend at the cabin again so
Bryce could go to his work "late" Christmas party at
the Cooper's Restaurant.  Greg finished up the caulking
and painting around the windows.  They are all finished now
and really are making a difference.  Its been warmer in the cabin
and we can see the beauty so much better!
I painted the bedside table in our bedroom.
This is the "before"
The finished table.  The quilt above our bed
is my Christmas present from Bliss.  I LOVE it!
And I love Bliss, she is the best "best friend" a
girl could ask for!  And she's so very talented!
Bliss and Robert gave Greg this map for our cabin.
We have been very blessed to be able to travel with them over
the years.  So...we are going to be able to see where we have
been and where we want to go in the future!  We will keep track
with different colored push pins.  Blue will represent places we have
been together and Red will represent places we hope/want to go
together.  Traveling is so much fun!  And there are so many wonderful
places to visit!  This dresser is the one that I painted this Summer.  Now our
room is finished and I am so happy with it!  I should have taken pictures of my
other walls.  I have hung up pictures of our family.  Its a wonderful home away
from home!

New Years Eve

We have some fun people in our ward.
A group of us went to dinner (27 people I think)

Our Bishop and his wife making sure we were all behaving.
After dinner we headed over to The Jones' house for more
fun.  More food and plenty of visiting.  Happy New Year!

Day after Christmas

Breeann and Brandon came the day after
Christmas for a few days.  We went to the cabin.
Greg took Brandon snowshoeing.
Poor Brandon couldn't walk the next day without
moaning but he enjoyed it (I think) and Sadie
kinda enjoyed it also.
Breeann and I even went for a walk.
Bear Lake is beautiful in the winter.  The
color of the lake changes.  It was a lovely day!

Installing my chandalier

Christmas afternoon the boys installed my new light.
I think they did a great job and it looks SOOOO much
better than the old one!  Merry Christmas to me!

Christmas

One thing about Christmas is...I miss my girls.  Its just not the
same anymore.  Nobody ever explained to me that someday I would
not have all of my children for Christmas or other Holidays for that matter.
Its a difficult thing to deal with.  I am grateful that Tanner was able to
be home with us.  He drove back from Texas where he had been working.

Bryce looking through his stocking.

Charlie looking at his stocking....not too impressed until
I opened the can of dog food!

Greg got his new Garmin Watch.  He's a happy man!

Christa's little Zoe (Jason's daughter) sent me this
bracelet.  She calls me Grandma Tammy.  So cute.
I've been wanting a chandalier for over my table for years.
Greg is awesome!  I love it!

playing with their new toys.
Merry Christmas!
