Ok, so here's the deal! I shop at Albertsons enough that I am friends with the Store Manager. (He is also in my stake) Today, I got to Albertsons not really sure what I was going to get and he stopped me and gave me a bunch of coupons for tuna and Propel water. Since I am such a good friend (ha ha) I am also shopping for my best friend, Bliss while she is in Alaska! So today I got 60 envelopes of Starkist Tuna, 4 boxes Raisin Bran, 1 box pop tarts, 5 (4 packs) Activia yogurt, 10 Propel, 1 whole chicken, 2 loaves of bread, 6 (4 lb) bags of sugar, 60 pkgs of koolaid, 4 pkgs of gummy worms. I spent $23!! ( I guess I must have cut the bags of sugar out of the picture -- oops!) Welcome to the Law Family Blog. Our family is changing and growing and this is my way of journaling/scrapbooking.

I love these kinds of sales!!

Today I was able to get a screaming good deal at Albertsons! I got 10 boxes of cereal, 2 large boxes popcorn, 4 brownie mixes, 4 boxes pop tarts, 2 pkgs Chinet plates, 1 loaf french bread, 4 fabric grocery bags for $5.36, then the store handed me 4 $5 off my next purchase coupons. So, that means that I MADE $15 on those groceries!! SWEET!!
Lagoon day!!

We had a lot of fun at Lagoon! Tammy's work decided instead of their annual retreat, they would buy all the employees and their families passes to Lagoon. It was a treat! I think I am getting too old for the scary roller coaster rides, but loved the water rides! Breeann decided she wanted to go run through the water fountain in the middle of the park, so Brandon took the opportunity to help her a little! They were totally soaked and dripping the rest of the night. Breeann was picked from the audience to go up on stage and try the hoola hoop! Thanks Hospice for Utah for a fun day at Lagoon!
Amy Law's wedding

Greg, Tanner & I were able to go to Salt Lake for Amy's wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful wedding! The kids had a great time decorating their car, and then we saw the dark clouds coming in FAST! The reception had to end a little early due to a storm. Everyone helped take down the tables and chairs and decorations really quickly and right when we had everything inside the church building, it started POURING rain! It was amazing! I wonder what their car looked like with the streamers soaked and the painted windows after that rain storm? We were thankful that the storm waited until after they had taken their pictures at the temple and were able to visit with everyone who had come to their reception. It was a great day!!
EFY!!

Bryce had the opportunity to attend EFY this year at USU with his best friend Braden Sawyer. He turns 14 the beginning of August so he was able to go. We took them every morning at 9:00 am and picked them up at 9:00 pm. Most days they both came home so excited, ready to tell us all about their day! There was a dance on two of the days and that was a lot of fun for them! It seems these two boys are popular with the girls, they danced most of the dances and had a great time!
More Law Reunion

With so much going on, everybody gets worn out, and we could often find people sleeping everywhere we looked! Doug & Diane's kids love, love, love Uncle Greg and tagged along with him throughout the reunion! Tanner & Bryce have fun playing with their little cousins, it was hard to keep them quiet. With approximately 80 people, sometimes all in the house (when it was storming outside), they tried to play chase through the house! Yes, it is noisy and crazy during the reunion with so many people! But it is so wonderful to belong to a great family who have so much fun together!!
Law Reunion Fun

The Law reunion is always fun at Grandpa & Grandma's house. This year there was a lot going on. Some were working on a Humanitarian project, sewing pants for little boys. Some were outside playing games, such as catch the whipped cream (one person has a pile of whipped cream on their wrist and tosses it to another person who tries to catch it in their mouth). It was pretty funny to see the whipped cream splat in their face! There was a craft of designing a tshirt, which the kids really had fun with!

More Pictures of Brandon & Breeann
These pictures were taken one day by Brandon's aunt because Breeann showed up in the same color of shirt as Brandon. It was pretty funny! They had a lot of fun posing and got a lot of teasing! Several people wanted to know if they were filming a Blue's Clue show! I thought they looked really cute and that is a good color for both of them.

Breeann is engaged!!

This is Brandon Zitting and the soon to be Breeann Zitting. Brandon is from Alabama, and has been going to BYU since returning from his mission in Hawaii. His grandparents live a few houses away from us on the same street (Chip & Cheri Lyon). They introduced the two of them and the rest is history. They have spent pretty much every waking minute together since they met (3 weeks ago!!). The wedding is planned for August 7 in the Logan temple. Yes, that is fast and furious and we have soooo much to do. They are both planning on transferring to USU so they can live in Logan. I have got to get busy and take more pictures of them! Then I will add them later!

Fun with a tire swing

The boys had a great time playing on the tire swing at McKay's parents house during the birthday party. I wish our trees were big enough for a tire swing. Well, maybe by the time the boys are married with kids we will have big enough trees. They decided they should make a swing for Grandpa & Grandma Law's house when we are there this summer. Getting the rope up in the branches would be the hard part!!
Brooke's 1st birthday

I have posted pictures of Brooke before, but she is my friend Sara's baby (and I kind of feel like she's mine). We went to her birthday party today. She was pretty cute in her princess tiara and sunglasses. She dug into her cake and smeared it everywhere and of course, didn't really want the presents, just the paper would have been fine. The party was McKay's parent's house (Sara's fiance). The had this hummingbird feeder in the back yard and there were tons of birds flying around it. If you stand there by it really still the birds will land on your hands. So the boys went out there and tried it. It was pretty fun!Our niece Amy Law's bridal shower

For those of you who don't know her, this is Amy. She is Greg's oldest brother Gordon's daughter and she is getting married in a few weeks in the Salt Lake Temple. The girls and I went to Salt Lake for her bridal shower the other day. It was fun to hang out with her, her mom and sisters. Amy served a mission in Uruguay (the same mission as Greg).

The crazy storm that hit Smithfield!

This storm came up really fast. As you can see from these pictures, it rained and hailed for an hour! We got almost 1 1/2 inches of rain in a period of an hour. There was a river of water running down our street and at one time we saw a large garbage can floating from one end of the street to the other. The hail was probably pea sized but it did quite a bit of damage. I had just planed flowers, so the blossoms are mostly dead. It took them right off the plants. The plant in my pot used to be a really pretty gerber daisy and now the blossoms are gone! In the back yard, we have a lot of Hostas and they were all shredded! We all stood at the front door and watched the hail come down, it was so amazing. In fact, Breeann's good friend Brandon, who is from Alabama kept wondering if there was going to be a tornado warning. I have never seen a storm like that in my life! It was pretty amazing. Oh and there was lightning and thunder.
BBQ after the graduation

After graduation, we had a big bbq in our yard. A lot of Christa's friends came and hung out on blankets, played on the trampoline and had a good time. Some of the other people in the pictures here are, Brandon and Breeann and Brandon's grandparents also came (Chip & Cheri Lyon, they are our neighbors), Sara & McKay and Sara's kids, and then of course, Grandma Redmon & Toni and Grandpa & Grandma Law. We all had a good time and lots of good food. Then...the sky kept getting darker and darker until we finally decided we better head inside. I will post pictures of the storm that hit really suddenly on the next post.
