Christmas Eve

We went to the Sawyer's house for Christmas Eve.  Tanner,
Bryce and Shea (Braden was at work) making gingerbread
houses.  They had a little fun....probably not as exciting
as when they were little.
They certainly weren't too interested in
detail.  Just get it done as quickly as possible.
Tanner was the only one who decorated
his.  Cute little snoopy house.  Even Shea
thought it was lame.
 Playing Christmas charades.
Maybe Bliss wrapped Robert up as a
white elephant gift?  :)
Bliss explaining the rules to the game.
Grandma Zee playing the white elephant game
Shea and Greg deep in conversation.
Playing games with teenage boys is
entertaining for sure.  Tanner and Bryce
fought over the silver pig.  Tanner won.
We got home after a 2 hour drive kinda late but
still did our traditional activities.  It included facetime
with Breeann and Brandon to read our Christmas story.
Then opened our Christmas jammies and went to bed.
This is the first year in probably close to 10 years that we spent
with the Sawyer's for Christmas Eve.  Enjoyable evening!

We are going to be GRANDPARENTS!!

Breeann and Brandon shared the best news EVER with us
when she was 11 weeks pregnant!  Its been a long two years for
them as they were battling infertility.  After some tests they were
able to determine what was wrong and only one month taking
a fertility drug they were pregnant!  So very exciting!!  I can't
even tell you how excited I am!  I really just want this little
peanut to grow FASTER!!  I don't remember being this excited
for my own babies.  Isn't that the cutest little peanut ever??
Not showing much but she is starting to show a little.
This is the 14 week ultrasound, the little peanut was
very active during this visit.  Breeann said "she" (Breeann is
just sure it is a girl... but they won't know for sure for another
month) was swimming and kicking her arms and legs.  "She"
wouldn't hold still for a good picture.  I still think this is
the cutest little peanut I have ever seen!

Thanksgiving in Colorado

Most of the drive to Colorado is really ugly.  When you get to
Moab is starts getting pretty.  I love the red rock.

This is right before the town called Bedrock.
Really kinda fun, its a house built into the side of
a mountain.  Its hard to see because there is a hill
in front of it.

Bryce playing with baby Sammy (Brandon's sisters' baby)
Breeann reading to her cute nephews
Brandon and Ari watching the football game
in a relatively uncomfortable position...

On the drive home, beautiful mountains

We had dinner at Matt and Lauren's house and had fun
playing with all the babies.  Then had dessert at their
Branch President's house and played games.  It was a fun
time.
Charlie and Sadie got pretty comfortable with each
other.

Christa came to visit!

It was so fun to have Christa for a few days in
November!  She had 4 days off in a row and
was able to get a good deal on a plane ticket so
she decided to come home and visit.
We even got her for her birthday!  She and I
had a great day shopping, she chose several cute
outfits.  It was nice to have her home for a few days!
