After 3+ years, the braces finally come off!!

Tanner went to the orthodontist this morning and the braces came off! He couldn't stop smiling! Isn't he handsome! Oh dear, the girls were after him before, now what are we going to do?

Just a note, I am finally figuring out the right way to post pictures and realized that I can do several at a time! So, that is why the first pictures that I posted are actually on the blog backwards, so you will have to read them from the bottom to the top. I knew there had to be a better way to do that!!

Disney Variety Show

Christa just recently finished a Disney Variety Show at school. It was lots of music from Disney shows. One of the numbers was from Alice in Wonderland and Christa was the cutest white rabbit I have ever seen! "I'm late, I'm late..." And, she was the prettiest princess on the stage! It was a lot of fun. Breeann used to be in lots of musicals in high school. And Tanner was recently in the "High school Musical". I love seeing my kids on the stage, it is so much fun!

Tanner lives for excitement!

This is Tanner doing some tricks, its usually a good thing mom doesn't go. I think I would make them go slower!!

A fun new sport!

The boys got a couple of motorcycles and they are having a great time with Greg going up the road where there are lots of hills to climb. This has been a great activity for them to do together...bonding!!

Grocery Mania!!

One of Tammy's hobbies is shopping! Yes, for groceries! I subscribe to 5 Sunday papers to get 5 sets of coupons and save tons of money! This is one of my mega bargains recently. On this trip I spent $95 and saved $455! Don't know if you can see it all, but there are two cases of Skippy Peanut buter, a case of laundry soap, a case of chicken broth, lots of Progresso soup, a case of mashed potatoes, case of cookie pouches, lots of popcorn, lots of ranch dressing, frozen vegetables, frozen cookies, margarine spread, and more... It was a good, good sale!! Our food storage is filling up fast and we are trying to clean out another storage room to help make more room.

Kenai Alaska

Tanner & Bryce had a fun opportunity to go to Alaska at the end of July. They went with Grandpa & Grandma Law and spent two weeks at Uncle Doug & Aunt Diane's house. They got to see a lot of neat things, do some fishing and it was great fun! Tanner caught at 35 lb King Salmon and they caught a lot of Halibut.

Coco Cay, Bahamas

One of the islands we stopped at was owned by the cruise line and called Coco Cay. Everybody loved snorkeling and saw lots of fun things. On the island of Nassau we went snorkeling with the sting rays, and even fed them. That was an experience!!

Cruise Ship Entertainment

There was plenty to do for the kids and adults on the boat. There were clubs with games, dances, parties, food, etc for the kids of all ages. We had fun watching the entertainment and especially liked eating! I think I gained 5 pounds that week, which I am still trying to lose (not good!)

Cruise to Bahamas

July 9-14, 2008
Our family went on a vacation to Miami and then took a cruise to the Bahamas. We traveled with our good friends The Sawyer family and it was relaxing and lots of fun! The kids all got along and had a great time together.
