Rainy Canyon cookout

We spent the evening in Smithfield Canyon with our friends
Rob & Joanna Mantz and family, Robert Sawyer and Shea and
our family.  The Mantz's were camping over night, but we joined
them for dinner.  Did you know that if you give a boy an ax
you can entertain him for hours?

It started raining, just a little at first, but then it poured for
quite a long time.  So, we all headed into the camp trailer to
wait it out!  Conner & Bryce trying to entertain themselves.

Ahhh! We have so much beauty surrounding us!

The last day that the Sawyers were here, we went for a 

picnic to Tony's Grove.  This is Shea hiking (the short distance

that we hiked) and she wasn't very happy.  She really, really

wanted to go to her Grandma's house.  She REALLY loves her 

Grandma and the thought of leaving in the morning was stressing

her out.  The really funny thing was that we overheard Bryce

tell Shea that she could have a good time if she set her mind to it!

Haha, I think Bryce has heard that a lot in his lifetime and this 

makes me think that maybe, just maybe he has been listening!!

Kristi took us to her cabin on Glendale Reservoir.

The boys dug a deep hole in the sand. Bryce had

been buried up to his neck and is now breaking out!

Oh wow! Is this a head sitting on the sand? Tanner is

providing some shade for it!

Actually, its Braden buried (haha). Yes he is standing up

inside this hole (they spent quite a long time digging it)

We rented a wave runner. Shea had a great time

driving it and she kept wanting to go "full thrindle"!

She kept getting the word thrindle and throttle mixed up.

I think she takes after her mother with the going fast stuff!

The lake was quite rough today, but the weather was beautiful!

The waves made it so when going fast you would jump! The

boys thought this was VERY fun! I'm glad Greg was here this

time so he could ride with them and let them go CRAZY!!!!

First Dam

It has been a fun week and I have lots of pictures to post.

This is the beginning of the fun! We picked up Bliss, Shea and

Braden at the airport last week and knowing Bliss like I do, I knew

she would love going to First Dam to feed the ducks and enjoy

the beauty there! I was right! The kids all had a great time and

it was a relaxing and fun day!

We invited Claire to come hang out with Shea and

Bliss, Shea and Claire floated under the bridge!
