Tanner's birthday was this weekend, he turned 19.
He moved into Logan this past Summer and is going to
Utah State University. He bought a motorcycle this summer
because he thought it would be cool and also less expensive to
drive (and he could afford it). He knew that Winter was going
to come but I don't think he really "believed it would matter". He
figured he'd just work it out. Well, its all fine and good except that
he works for Jimmy Johns and delivers sandwiches so he has to have
transportation. Its cold on his bike. So being the nice parents that we
are, we bought him the coat he wanted (from Jimmy Johns), some warm
motorcycle gloves and long johns. As long as it isn't wet and icy outside
he will be able to ride his bike. And atleast now he will be a little warmer.
This is Tanner with Garrett. They are both so
fun to be around. Garrett was wearing this silly
suit coat that he got at the Deseret Industries the
other day. Hilarious! Tanner wanted a cheesecake
for his birthday. YUM!
Joanna and Tanner share the same birthday
(she is Garrett's mom and our good friend). Tanner
said, "Wow, how am I supposed to compete with that cake?"
Its fun to have him come home on Sundays to visit. Now if
we can convince him to cut his hair......Sure do love that kid!
