I finally got the pictures from everyones cameras so can finish my
posts from Costa Rica. The house we stayed at was awesome and
every morning we had visitors. Monkeys! And this was my
most favorite part of the whole trip (well, besides the company)!
This type of monkey is known as a White Faced Monkey and
they are very cute but also we found out quickly very naughty.
They loved laying in the rafters of our deck covering.
The monkeys loved hanging out by our pool. How fun
that I got to swim with a monkey, right??
We tried keeping plenty of bananas on hand to feed them.
This was when we learned how naughty they can be. They
were gently eating bananas out of our hands then suddenly we
must not have been feeding them fast enough because they
suddenly started getting crazy. Some of them jumped up onto
our balconies where there were doors to bedrooms and shook
the doors trying to get inside. They went from door to door
in the house trying to break in. Yikes. After that we said no
more bananas for those monkeys. One morning they came and
started pounding on the fence and chairs wanting us to feed them.
These monkeys are known as squirrel monkeys and they
were darling. So sweet and gently. I was feeding them bananas
and their little hands are so soft. Suddenly one of the babies reached down
to my hand with his mouth and ate it right out of my hand. How
cute is that! I couldn't get enough of these guys.

Just so darn cute. How can you not love them?
We all had so much fun with them!

else either. Kinda picky little guys. We
tried all kinds of fruit.
