Plants and wildlife in Costa Rica

This is a Paprika plant where they get the spice from
We went on a tour of the Rainforest.  Our tour guide
pointed out lots of things.  Spiders...That was kind of a boring
day, we were rather disappointed actually.  It was expensive and we
saw better wildlife from our house.
A sloth seen from his big telescope.  We had them in our
trees in front of our house also.
 A stick bug...
 Huge iguanas everywhere!
 My favorite!  Monkeys
 Tuacans
We also saw raccoons on the beach.  They were kind of
naughty little guys also.  Love this sign

 Sloth
A banana tree right outside our house
 Cow
 Alligators

This ugly scorpion was inside Cindy and Scotts bedroom
one night.  It was entertaining listening to the screams and craziness
that happened when he was discovered.  Huge!  I'm glad
I didnt see it!  They caught it and put it inside a vase with duck tape
over the top and put it on the deck during the night.  The next
morning the tape was peeled back and no scorpion.  Apparently
monkeys like to eat scorpions and our chefs told us they were sure the
monkeys had a nice breakfast.
